Soroptimist and family resource center collects household items

Submitted by Soroptimist International of Friday Harbor

Soroptimist International of Friday Harbor and the Joyce Sobel Family Resource Center will be collecting household items to assist community members during these difficult times.

Collection cans will be set near the entrances of Browne’s Home Center, Friday Harbor Drug and the San Juan Island Food Co-op from March 1-14.

Items needed include paper towels; laundry detergent; dish soap; menstrual hygiene products (pads, tampons); deodorant; toilet paper; cleaning supplies; baby diapers (sizes 2, 3 and 4); baby wipes; bath soap; shampoo; conditioner; razors; floss; toothpaste; and face masks.

These items can usually be found at the stores where the collecting cans are located.

Thank you for caring.
