Every day that lawmakers protect the gun lobby and ignore pleas for action, more people die preventable deaths. On May 13, we’re rallying to demand Congress reinstate the bipartisan federal Assault Weapons Ban.

Thankfully our state has approved an assault weapons ban, but there is more to do. The #1 cause of death for children is guns. This is the definition of a critical a public health matter. On the eve of Mother’s Day, we want to rally on this issue to demand that our elected officials implement effective policies focused on reducing the potential for gun violence.

The event takes place Saturday, May 13 at 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the County Court House, 350 Court Street, Friday Harbor, WA 98250
