Pet(s) of the Week

Hello! I’m Bessie and this is my little sister, Della. We were surrendered to the shelter last fall by a man who brought us all the way here from New York City. We have spent a long winter here, huddled under blankets, preparing for spring. Rumor around the kennels is that spring is when the shelter gets busier and people start looking for companions to keep them company on their outdoor walks and hikes. We are ready to be those companions! They say we are bonded, so maybe that is why Della (she is the white and brown beauty) likes to chew on me? It’s all in good sport though and I would be sad to be without her kind of love. Speaking of love, Della and I are also full of love to offer through cuddles and kisses. In fact, we will even climb into your lap if you let us – both of us. So, come on by the shelter and meet us…we’d love to love you!
