On Book features “Heir Apparent”

Submitted by the San Juan Community Theatre.

San Juan Community Theatre’s On Book Series returns this March with David Ives’ The Heir Apparent, an adaptation of Jean-Francois Regnard’s La Legataire universel. Joy Van Camp directs this fast-paced, bawdy farce written entirely in rhyming couplets. Auditions are Saturday, March 11 at 2 p.m. at the theatre’s PARC facility, located at 70 Saltspring Drive. SJCT’s On Book Series is an excellent way to explore your inner theater side! With a low time commitment (just three rehearsals and two performances) and without the pressure of learning lines, it is the perfect way to explore theatre regardless of experience. Performances of The Heir Apparent are Wednesday and Thursday, March 22 and 23 at 7:30 p.m. and are pay-what-you-can admission at the door. For more information about the auditions and performances please visit the theatre’s website at www.sjctheatre.org.
