Mount Baker Theatre’s Education Program presents ‘The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley’

The Mount Baker Theatre is presenting the 19th season of our Education Series.

The Mount Baker Theatre is presenting the 19th season of our Education Series. Last year we welcomed nearly 17,000 area students to a variety of stimulating programs.

The fifth show in our eight show 2014-2015 Education series, The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, will be performed at the Mount Baker Theatre on Friday, March 6 at 10:00am and 12:15pm.

Stanley Lambchop is just like everyone else. That’s the problem. For Stanley, life is TOO normal. He wants to travel the world, do something amazing, something no one’s ever seen before. Careful what you wish for, Stanley! One night, the bulletin board on the wall above his bed comes loose and falls – right on top of Stanley! The next morning, Stanley Lambchop wakes up flat. Not just a little flat…really, REALLY flat! In a whirlwind musical travelogue, Stanley – the ultimate exchange student – explores the globe and learns that heroes come in all shapes and sizes.

Directed by Broadway veteran Michael Serrechia, this production celebrates the book’s 50th anniversary, bringing Flat Stanley to life as a charming musical with a delightful score. This production is produced by Dallas Children’s Theater Company.
