Kids of all ages are invited to submit poster designs that incorporate this year’s festival theme. What does living near the ocean mean to you? What do you love about it? Why is it important to our community? How are you making waves in your own life? We are looking forward to seeing how you include Making Waves into your artwork.

Artworks must be submitted on an official entry form. They can be obtained outside the Island Rec office door in the hanging file, the San Juan Island Library or at Friday Harbor Elementary School. Poster designs must be returned to the hanging file outside the office door at Island Rec, 580 Guard Street, by 4 p.m. Friday, March 18, to be considered by our contest judges. In addition to the honor and title of “Official Poster Designer”, there will be two runner-up prizes given for the committee’s top choices in poster design. Enter for a chance to win!
