The Archipelago Collective Chamber musicians are thrilled to join the San Juan Community Theater on Monday, March 10 at 7 p.m., to bring music and education events to Friday Harbor for their new Winter Residency program! Their world-class musicians will spend two days on San Juan Island engaging with the community, presenting assemblies for kids at the local schools and performing a final concert at the theater for kids and families to learn about what we do and experience the magic of chamber music.
With an emphasis on interactive learning and cultural enrichment, this residency aims to inspire a new generation of music enthusiasts. The educational program will feature workshops that delve into the intricacies of chamber music, offering unique insights into the art form. Participants will have the chance to interact directly with the musicians, ask questions and discover the significance and role of chamber music in today’s world. This initiative not only fosters a love for music but also exposes the youth of our community to this incredible art form!
Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for student reserved and $5 for student rush. Purchase tickets online at www.sjctheatre.org, or at our box office, open Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or by calling 360-378-3210.
