San Juan Golf & Tennis Club’s Winter Music Series II featuring local and mainland artists continues this Saturday, Feb. 8, and runs for six more weeks. This is a great opportunity to see live music in the off-season. These artists welcome the chance for a gig this time of year and the series was sold out last year.
This Saturday, Devin Champlin, a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and luthier from Bellingham will appear. As a solo artist, Champlin maintains a loose do-it-yourself ethic, rarely playing things the same way twice, and keeping his audience (and himself) on their toes. Preferring not to lean too hard into any specific genre, he’s satisfied with the umbrella term “folk” as the idea of non-commercial music made by people. He can be found teaching and playing at various festivals around the northwest.
We are very pleased with the lineup this year and hope everyone gets a chance to see them. More info on the artists and online tickets/ticket info can be found at https://sjgolfclub.com/music2025.asp.
Everyone is welcome!
