San Juan Golf & Tennis Club’s Winter Music Series II, featuring local and mainland artists, continues this Saturday, March 8, and runs for three more weeks. This is a great opportunity to see live music in the off-season. These artists welcome the chance for a gig this time of year, and the series was sold out last year.

This Saturday, the Tara Craig Band plays. Tara is a local award-winning singer-songwriter here in Friday Harbor. Her music is immersive, vocally driven and indie folk-pop. She captivates audiences with a huge voice that is equal parts soulful and vulnerable. Her songs drip with imagery and are delivered with palpable emotional intensity. The band features Daniel Deshon on bass, electric guitar, vocals, and Scott Sluis on drums and vocals.
