Think you’re not an artist? You’re wrong; anyone can make art. Join the fun at the adult classes at the San Juan Islands Museum of Art. No experience is necessary and you get to bring a new work of yours home with you.
Art for Fun is a two-hour, fun-filled art party set in a relaxed, interactive atmosphere. It is a great way to celebrate a birthday, share a date night, create team building or just enjoy a night out on your own. Join your friends and follow step-by-step instructions from experienced artists. Everyone paints the same picture, yet takes home his or her own unique creation.
Instructor Kristen Douglas-Seitz is the instructor who makes the classes a real joy. The upcoming schedule is as follows:
• “Joy,” is scheduled for Nov. 16, 9-11 a.m.
• “Noel,” Dec. 5, 6-8 p.m.
Both classes are held at SJIMA at 540 Spring St. in Friday Harbor. All supplies are provided with the registration fee. Register online under “Learn” or at the reception desk during SJIMA hours. The fee is $35. If you have questions call Douglas-Seitz at 918-688-6596 or email SanJuanAFF@gmail.com.
