We are a local, non-partisan, volunteer organization whose mission is to inform and to educate the local community about the civil liberties enshrined in the United States Constitution and the state of Washington Constitution, the civil rights provided by the laws of the United States and the state of Washington, and to advocate and to act for their protection, preservation and observance.

In response to several inquiries, the steering committee wishes to inform the local community of the mission of the Friends of the Constitution.

We are a local, non-partisan, volunteer organization whose mission is to inform and to educate the local community about the civil liberties enshrined in the United States Constitution and the state of Washington Constitution, the civil rights provided by the laws of the United States and the state of Washington, and to advocate and to act for their protection, preservation and observance.

To accomplish our mission, we maintain a website (www.friendsoftheconstitution.info), communicate with our supporters by email, sponsor public forums and expose civil liberties abuses through letters to the editor and guest columns.
