On Saturday, May 12, 2018, I went to the community theater to watch “Beauty and the Beast.” The show was phenomenal with wonderful costumes and funny jokes.

I was blown away by the pure joy radiating from the faces and hearts of all the people on the stage and then to the audience. I loved the actor who played Lumiere. I loved his accent and costume. He cracked me up when he would talk to Babette and chase her around the stage, but all characters were still great in their own way.

I am so excited to continue to watch or even be in the fun showings of the community theater and shall continue to support and love the work of the San Juan Island theater in all they may do.
