I am an attorney who has practiced law in this community for almost 20 years and have worked closely with Joan White throughout the years, first in her capacity as a deputy clerk and then as Court Clerk.

As a Friday Harbor attorney who frequently represented clients in superior court, I had regular interactions with the County Clerk’s office and with Joan White personally.

I found the office in general, and Joan in particular, fully committed to helping attorneys and clients in whatever way possible. All my interactions with Joan were pleasant, efficient, and professional, representing the way that government at every level should interact with the public, but too often doesn’t.
