Thank you, community members, for your overwhelming support of SAFE San Juans during our first annual SAFE on the Rocks Twilight Glow 5K run for Sexual Assault Awareness Month! Your generosity and involvement over these past few months have been astounding! We had such a wonderful number of community businesses who came alongside us as corporate sponsors. We also experienced incredible volunteer support in pulling off the logistics that made the runs fun for everyone. With over 300 runners participating in our three runs on San Juan, Orcas and Lopez Islands, we certainly consider the events a success, thanks to your, our awesome community partners.

We also would like to thank you for your continued support of our Stand Up Men group. As the guys begin to branch out into the Orcas and Lopez communities, it so great to know that their mission to challenge abuse and change lives is echoed by so many in our island home.

Lastly, we would love to share a special thank you to all those who gave to our cause in the recent Give Orcas campaign! Through your generosity, our Orcas Island prevention work will continue to move forward, impacting kids of all ages.

As a community-focused agency, it is so wonderful to know that we can count on our fellow community members, as we work to keep our “rocks” SAFE.
