We wanted to express our heartfelt thanks to those ferry workers who helped us board an 8 a.m. ferry to Anacortes several weeks ago when we had a family medical emergency across the state.

We did not have ferry reservations and just hoped that we would be able to board. We were given a space which allowed us to be about the first to disembark, and we were able be with our family at a very difficult time.
