Expunged record would mean a better future

To any lawyers whom may be inclined to help:

I am Jeffrey S. Bryant, a previous resident of Friday Harbor. Like many youths, I found my way into trouble with the law. But unlike many, I grew from the experience and have done everything I can to better myself and my community.

From a ninth-grade dropout to receiving a GED at Skagit Valley College, to an A.A. from College of the Canyons in Valencia, Calif., and now in the fall, I will receive a B.S. in business finance from California State University, Northridge.

My goal is to move to Korea in June next year to teach English, and work with a professor and pastor I have grown to admire from my college. Soon after, I aspire to start my own school. This will be a venture of building a profitable business in an ever-improving field, and doing something positive at the same time.

However, I am burdened and possibly even hindered from this by my record.

I plead to any charitable soul to help me expunge my record from years ago that haunts me still. I am a poor student still, so I have no money to give, but if you can find it in your heart to help me now when I am about to take on the world and start my life, surely I can repay you in the future.

I can be contacted at JeffreySBryant@yahoo.com or at (818) 744-2106.

Thank you and God bless.
