Doubting design | Letter

I wonder if others feel that this is a poorly designed intersection. The right turn from Nash on to Caines Street is too sharp. There should be a stop sign or a yield sign on Nash where it meets Caines (as it once was) as well as a crosswalk with or without a button. Many walkers and kids from three schools use this dangerous intersection and if they don’t cross earlier at Spring or Argyle, they have to make a run for it at Caines and Nash. The entrance to the often used Senior Center/Mullis Center adds more pressure to the situation.

I fear there will be accidents if Nash remains a through the street at Caines. It needs a stop or yield sign, and a crosswalk.
