I would like to express my deepest thanks and appreciation to the amazing folks in the Peace Island Medical Center Emergency Room and at Island Air Ambulance.

I’ve always felt that we islanders are truly blessed to have such caring professionals available when we need them, and early this week, when I needed them most, they were right there.

To Dr. Stone and his staff, and to Don, Trish, Craig, Will and Jacquie, thank you all so much not only for your skills and devotion to your work, but also for your kindness, cheerfulness, and generosity of spirit. The world needs more people like you.
