Cookies in my browser? Sugar in my tea? What’s all these crazy questions WSF is asking me? |Letters

Everything was going smoothly until I tried to choose a password with "at least one alpha numeric... and at least one non-alphabetic special character." Really? My bank doesn't require such a thing.

Is it just me, or is creating an account for the Washington State Ferries reservations system a real pain in the horse’s petute.

Everything was going smoothly until I tried to choose a password with “at least one alpha numeric… and at least one non-alphabetic special character.”

Really? My bank doesn’t require such a thing. Do they think Russian hackers are going to target the ferry reservation system?

To add insult to injury, an hour after I finally did establish an account a message came through saying, “Please enable the cookies in your web browser to continue.”

Since I have no idea what this means, I thought about finding a 14-year-old and asking him or her for help; but I reconsidered when I figured asking such a question might put me in jail.

Come on Ferry folks, give us islanders a break. Better yet just leave us alone.

The current first-come, first-serve system works really well, which is more than I can say for the Elwah or the Yakima.
