APS benefit success | Letter

On behalf of the Animal Protection Society of Friday Harbor, I’d like to thank everyone who came to our “Take a Seat for Animals” fundraiser Friday evening at Brickworks. The event was a big success! Also, special thanks to the many island artists who created one-of-a-kind painted chairs for the auction. And last but certainly not least, we are ever-grateful to our local sponsors, Friday Harbor Pet Supplies, Coldwell Banker, Islander’s Bank and Island Veterinary Clinic. The money raised will go towards the shelter’s operating fund and is greatly appreciated.
