Edward Stephen Tucker, the most incredible partner, father, teacher, brother, and son, spread his wings on August 21, 2025.
He will be remembered as a soulful man, a true fighter, a bright + gentle light, a soccer coach, a lover of music (especially reggae), “the condiment king”, an adventurer, a protector — a truly remarkable human.
Ed had this sort of magical way of bringing people together; whether through music, food, tai chi, massage therapy, or his love for the people in his life, he always found a way to connect us all. He was always drawn to those carrying heavy burdens, and he seemed to know just how to help when they needed it most. He really was magic, and still is. If you’d like to honor his memory and spirit, you can do so by living your life to the fullest; with gratitude, compassion, kindness, and by enjoying all the little things (like a good soft pretzel and a cold beer) — just like he did.
Ed’s legacy lives on through his soulmate, Heather, his three daughters; Nayaleah (John), Ariana (Gleb), and Phaedra, as well as his grandson, Cameron Edward. He is so dearly loved by so many, and will be deeply missed. A celebration of life will be held during the summer of 2026.
Fly high dad, we’ll meet you on the beach in Hawaii.
