Islanders Bank celebrates ‘Customer Appreciation Day’ at Friday Harbor branch Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

President and CEO Brad Williamson will be on hand to say “Hello” as Islanders Bank celebrates Customer Appreciation Days at each of its three island branches, in June.

Customer Appreciation Days get under way beginning this Friday, at the Friday Harbor branch, 225 Blair Ave., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Refreshments will be available at each of the three meet-and-greet events, including free hot dogs, soft drinks and water, and popsicles and ice cream sandwiches, as well.

The Orcas Island branch celebrates Customer Appreciation Days June 15, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the Lopez branch will host its meet-and-greet event the following day, June 16, also from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Williamson, a former director of banks for the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions, which regulates all Washington State chartered banks, trust companies and business development companies, began his tenure as president and CEO of the locally-based financial institution in mid-February.

He succeeded Brian Brown, chairman of the bank’s board of directors, as Islanders’ president and chief executive officer.

Islanders Bank is a subsidiary of the Banner Corporation, a $4.4 billion bank holding company operating two commercial banks in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. The banks serve the Pacific Northwest region with a full range of deposit services and business, commercial real estate, construction, residential, agricultural and consumer loans.
