EDC, MRSC, local governmental entities to offer workshops on Contracting with Local Governments Contractors are invited to join the MRSC, the Town of Friday Harbor, the SJI Public Hospital District, San Juan County, the Port of Friday Harbor, and the EDC, for an informative workshop on contracting with local agencies, on April 25 from 4-6 pm.
Area governmental agencies and the EDC will be joined by the Municipal Research and Services Center (MRSC) to share ways that local contractors and businesses can be chosen for good contracting projects locally, through participation in the MRSC’S small works roster.
During the workshop, participants will learn about eligibility and how “small works” projects are defined. Assistance with registering for the roster will be provided on-site, including how to file the necessary documents with L & I, to enable eligible contractors to be considered for future small works public projects.
Pizza and refreshments will be provided.
