Know Your Island Walk at Mount Finlayson

The next Know Your Island Walk is from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, June 23. Bill Severson will take attendees on one of his favorite hikes: climbing Mount Finlayson. There is a steep section, however, and Severson will take a slow pace and, along the way, speculate on who the mountain was named after and how high they thought it was at the time. The terrain is moderate, distance is four miles and dogs on leashes are welcome. Meet at the Jakle’s Lagoon parking lot.
