The 2009 Island A La Carte coupon discount book has been discounted, from $29.95 to $19.95.

Call Virginia Otto, 317-6728, or buy a book at Friday Harbor Drug or Mullis Center. There are about 50 books left.

All proceeds from coupon book sales benefit Mullis Center.

“I know people who have saved $400 or $500,” Otto said.

The 2009 books have been discounted to make way for the 2010 coupon books. Coupons in the 2009 book are good until June 30. The 2010 book goes on sale May 1. Those coupons will be valid until April 30, 2011.
