Deus ex Machina | Letter

It appears, to me, that how we perceive ourselves has changed since the writers of our Constitution perceived themselves. They wrote with the belief that if the Constitution spelled out how we should act, that we would follow that rule. Obviously, that has changed. For example, Section Three of the 14th Amendment states: “No person shall… hold any office who…shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.” Congress, however, has the right to remove this disability by two-thirds ruling of each house. No such ruling came out of the house. No one was able to stop Trump from running for office after he tried to overthrow the government to remain in power. All attempts to bring him to justice were thwarted by one judge, appointed by the very person who committed the crime.
I believe, therefore, that we need to update the method of implementation and execution of the U.S. Constitution, while maintaining the basic rules and principles of its meaning and purpose. It is obvious this will not happen while the puppet wannabe dictator remains in office. I say puppet because he is controlled by such men as Steven Miller and Russell Voght. Trump is, to them, a useful idiot. They will toss him away as soon as he is no longer useful… but he will be blamed by them for all they have done to destroy our way of government. This is a time we need “Deus ex Machina”, or perhaps something similar.
