Barbara Kingsolver: A Livestream Conversation

The San Juan Island Library is partnering with Seattle Arts and Lectures to present a livestream conversation with bestselling author Barbara Kingsolver. Winner of the 2023 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, Barbara Kingsolver is lauded as one of the most celebrated novelists of our time. She will appear in conversation with Ruth Dickey, the Executive Director of the National Book Foundation. The talk will be followed by a Q&A.

There are two ways to participate: first, patrons can join us in person at the Library (this is encouraged for those who are able). Come watch the livestream together, with refreshments. For those unable to attend in person, there are a limited number of tickets available to view the program online. You can register for this option on the Library website.

The livestream will take place on Monday, Oct. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
