Children’s Festival poster contest winners

Island Rec is pleased to present the winners of the Annual Children’s Festival Poster Contest.

First place winner is Melinda Joy, second place winner is Lyla Overall and third place winner is Sam Herda. Honorable Mentions were given to Felicity Schubert and Sarah Schubert.

Many thanks to all the young artists who submitted entries! There were some wonderful artworks to choose from this year. Keep an eye out for the posters around town.

Island Rec would like to thank Vic’s Drive-In, Hermosa, The Toy Box and Palace Theatre for sponsoring prizes for the poster contest.

And don’t forget: The Children’s Festival is happening Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at the fair building. We hope to see you there.
