Golfers practice on districts course

A few Friday Harbor Wolverine golfers traveled to Oak Harbor over spring break to test out the course on which they’ll be playing in the district tournament the second weekend in May.
“Four players took advantage of the opportunity to get a feel for the course,” coach Jack Rice said. “If we can shoot these kinds of scores next month, we’re going to be in pretty good shape.”
The golfers who putted about the 18-hole course were sophomore Ethan Havel, who scored 79; senior Peter Kulseth, 87; junior Teagan August, 97; and freshman Jack Mason, 107.
