The Friday Harbor Wolverines basketball teams played their first league games against the La Conner Braves on Dec. 18, off of the island. The lady Wolverines gave it their all but lost to the Braves, 50-33. The Wolverine boys varsity came away with a well-fought win with a score of 65-46.
