Request for Friday Harbor High School community service projects

The second semester Friday Harbor High School Community Service-Learning Class will begin Jan. 29. This class utilizes committed adult mentors who will guide students through the completion of a service project related to community improvement – both locally and globally. This is a great opportunity for a “win-win” partnership between students and local organizations. If you have a community improvement project in mind, a 15-minute, in-class presentations time can be arranged on Jan. 31, Feb. 1, or Feb. 2 from 8:15-9 a.m. Contact Jenny Wilson at jwilson@sjisd.wednet.edu for more information.
