With only three games left of the season, the Friday Harbor boys soccer team is second in their league. On Tuesday, Oct. 16, the boys celebrated a landslide victory against Grace Academy out of Marysville, Washington.
The first half of the game, the teams went back and forth, with no goals until sophomore mid-forward Satchel Pieples scored right before the halftime buzzer. Pieples kept the pressure on Grace Academy by scoring again, within the first few minutes of the first half. The Wolverines didn’t let up, scoring three more times before the end of the game. The final score was 5-0.
The boys went up against Mount Vernon Christian on Wednesday, Oct. 17, and lost 2-0. The next home game will be at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, when they play Lopez.
The final game of the season will be against the Orcas on Orcas, Thursday, Oct. 25.
