Kalama High School Chinooks boys basketball team undid a chance for Friday Harbor Wolverines to continue onto the state playoffs.

The Chinooks amassed a score of 62-43 in the 2019 Class 2B State Regional Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 23, in Tumwater. This ends the Wolverines season. The Wolverines kept pace in the first half on the scoreboard but after the half, the Chinooks pulled away and Friday Harbor could not regain its momentum to close the gap. The Chinooks continue on to compete in the Hardwood Classic State Playoffs next week in Spokane.
