With veteran guards Mike Wilbur and Landy James leading the way, the Braves (7-0, 12-1) capitalized on turnovers to outscore Friday Harbor 16-6 in second quarter and grabbed a 29-15 advantage at the half. James scored a game-high 23 points, Wilbur added 17 and 6-foot 6-inch junior Jonah Cook had 13.

For the Wolverines (5-2, 9-3), Tuesday’s loss was the team’s second straight in Northwest 1A/2B League competition. They fell at home to Cedar Park Christian in overtime on Jan. 6.

Junior Donald Galt tallied 12 points to lead Friday Harbor on the offensive end, Collin Williamson had 11 and C.J. Woods added 10.
