Tiger football continued its winning streak these past two weeks with all three Tiger teams looking forward to playoffs.

The teams played their first home games at Linde Community Park on Saturday, Sept. 14. With all of the Tiger cheerleaders encouraging all three football teams they all saw big wins.

The juniors, who remain undefeated for the past three years — last year didn’t allow a single point to be scored against them during the entire last season — kept it up with an easy win against LaConner ending the game at 41–0.

Juniors Quarterback Pierce Kleine had two touchdowns, one throwing and one running. Marcos Soto also had two touchdowns and Rafael Sanabria had a receiving touchdown.

The Freshman team who has only lost one game so far this season played Burlington and won 44–19.

The youngest of the Tiger teams, the Peewees faced solid opponents in LaConner but still came away with a 44 – 12 win. Third graders Kash Griffith and Logan Jackson both had multiple touchdowns. First-grader Chase Flierl had his first career score with a two-point conversion.

On Saturday, Sept. 21 the Juniors played Ferndale, a 1A team but were still able to crush their opponents with another big win at 32 – 0. Quarterback Pierce Kleine had another two touchdowns, Victor Velasquez also scored twice and Marcos Soto and Rafael Sanabria each had one touchdown.

On Saturday, Sept. 28 the juniors played another Ferndale team, walking away with a 34–0 win. Peewees had a huge game, easily defeating Darrington 46-6.

All three Tiger teams will play at home at Linde Community Fields on Oct. 5.
