Register for the 2011 Einar Nielsen/Becky Barr Memorial Fishing Classic by June 15 and save $20 off the price of an adult ticket.

“Early Bird” tickets can be purchased for $65 through June 15 at the following locations: ACE Hardware in Friday Harbor, the general store at Roche Harbor Resort and at Friday Harbor’s King’s Marine, or online, at www.enbbfishingclassic.com

Ticket purchases include free moorage at the Roche Harbor Resort marina in conjunction with the Classic’s four-day run.

Dates of the 2011 Einar Nielsen/Becky Barr Memorial Fishing Classic are Sept. 29-30, and Oct. 1-2. After June 15, the cost of an adult ticket is $85; a child ticket is $20.

Top cash prizes for this year’s event:

1st place: $5,000

2nd place: $3,000

3rd place: $1,000

All children win a prize.

Proceeds from the Classic benefit the Einar Nielson/Becky Barr scholarship program, which provides scholarships to local students each year. The Einar Nielsen Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit organization and ticket purchases and donations are tax deductible.
