Girls basketball battles Braves

Friday Harbor’s girls’ basketball team went up against the LaConner Braves on their home court Friday evening, Jan. 26. The Braves took the lead in the first quarter, but the Wolverines kept on their tail with a score of 9-11 at the end of the first quarter. The Braves kept their lead into halftime, with an overall score of 15-22. The score was 22-30 by the end of the third quarter, with the Braves still in the lead. The Wolverines were unable to score in the fourth quarter, and the Braves took the victory. The final score of the game was 22-42.

The Wolverines take on Orcas on Jan. 30, at Orcas Island High School. The final game of the season for the Wolverines will be against Concrete on Feb. 2 at home.
