Friday Harbor Wolverines lose to South Whidbey Falcons

The Friday Harbor Wolverines traveled off island to play the South Whidbey Falcons on Friday, Oct. 8. The Falcons were the first to score and continued till the third quarter amassing a lead of 20-0.

The Wolverines were finally able to score in the second half getting two touchdowns and two point-after kicks.

Wolverine’s defense was tough on the Falcon running game but had an unsuccessful time shutting down the Falcon passing game.

The final score was Falcons 32 to Wolverines 14.

The next game for the Wolverines is at home against Bellingham High School Bayhawks on Oct. 15 at 6:30 p.m. This is a non-district game.
