The Wolverines put up a good fight against defending champions, Adna with Mili Holt getting 14 outs, and Emma Wickman added 3 RBI’s to her stats against their number one pitcher. In the end, however, they lost 12-4.

Saturday, Friday Harbor beat Mary Walker High, with a home runs hit by Emma Wickman and Lili Wood, but then lost to Warden 11-1, ending the tournament for the Wolverines.

The team headed home with an eighth place win overall.

“Our ladies were exhausted,” Kirk Holt said, “They played their hearts out. This is the first time Friday Harbor softball has made it this far.”
