Baseball and softball signups coming up; Fletcher Vynne clinic Feb. 27 to March 1

Friday Harbor Baseball & Softball Association is starting its season a little later this year to take advantage of better weather and to allow for online registration and preseason clinics.
Here’s the initial calendar:
— Deadline for early-bird sign ups Feb. 23-24 (save $10 by registering early).
— Clinic with Fletcher Vynne, former Wolverine and now a coach, Feb. 27 to March 1.
— Baseball and softball registration deadline March 12 (sign-ups after March 12 incur a late fee).
— Baseball tryouts March 14.
— Softball skills assessments March 14.
— Work party at the field, March 21.
— Team practices March 23 to April 3 (Spring Break April 6-10).
— Opening Day Festivities April 14 after school
— Hit-A-Thon May 15.

Registration packets will be available online and at the elementary and middle schools.
