The Wolverines made quick work of Concrete, scoring six runs in the opening inning en route to a 13-3 victory in just five, Tuesday, April 15, at Hartman Field.

Friday Harbor tallied 13 runs on 12 base hits and clinched the win in the bottom of the fifth inning, under the longstanding WIAA "10-run" rule. At the top of the batting order, Casey Rothlisberger, 2-of-4 at the plate, scored two runs, Gabe Lawson had two hits and a pair of runs as well, and Amer Melic was 2-of-3 at the plate and added three runs.

On the mound, Otis-Cooper West and Melic shared the pitching duties and together scattered six base hits over five innings and kept the Lions (8-5), who showed signs of making what proved to be a rout into a contest by scoring two early runs, in check.

With the win, the Wolverines improved to 7-4 overall. They face Meridian on the road, Saturday, April 19, and host La Conner, Tuesday, April 22; game time is 4 p.m. at Hartman Field.
