Friday Harbor Baseball Boosters Club to host alumni game

Bragging rights and more will be on the line when the Friday Harbor Baseball Boosters Club hosts its first Wolverine alumni game and fund-raiser July 26 at Hartman Field. Game time is TBD.

Players from Wolverine squads of the past and present will take the field to help raise money and offset the program’s growing expenses. A barbecue, silent auction and the sale of authentic Wolverine baseball caps are scheduled. Head Coach Rich Warin is also taking bids on throwing out the game’s first ball.

Players interested in participating can call Warin at 378-2318 or Assistant Coach Steve Schramm at 378-3195. Auction items also can be donated by contacting Warin or Schramm.
