The Friday Harbor girls basketball team will fight to stay alive in post-season play Thursday, Feb. 13, on the road in an elimination game against Nooksack Valley. Tip off is 5 p.m.

The Wolverines (8-13) fell into the consolation bracket following a 63-31 defeat at Kings High School, Tuesday. The Pioneers (14-7) stumbled into the consolation game after falling to Blaine 56-39 in their post-season opener as well.

In a Jan. 4 regular-season meeting, Nooksack Valley prevailed at home in a 42-23 win over the Wolverines, who will be looking to even the score with a post-season victory today on the Pioneers home floor. The winner will advance in the consolation bracket; the loser will be eliminated from the post-season.
