Dunkin’ at Sunken 3-on-3 basketball tournament cancelled

Dunkin’ at Sunken, the annual 3-on-3 basketball tournament at Sunken Park, has been cancelled this year because of poor registration.

Island Rec officials put the word out early this year, hoping to register five teams by June 10. “Unfortunately, we only had three,” said Abby Spann, Island Rec recreation specialist.

“We hope we’ll be able to do it next year. We hope to get more people signed up early. Perhaps a different time, just not this summer.”
