The Friday Harbor girls soccer squad and volleyball team each host Evergreen Lutheran, Saturday, with the action on the Friday Harbor soccer field slated to get under way at 11:30 a.m.

However, this weekend's marquee prep sports matchup features the Friday Harbor football team seeking to reclaim the coveted Island Cup trophy and its third consecutive win with a victory at home, Friday, over the Vikings of Orcas Island; kick off is 6:45 p.m.

The soccer team, winners of their last two games, including Thursday's 12-2 victory on the road against Northwest 1A/2B League rival Concrete, are undefeated in league play and 2-1 overall, going into their non-conference match up against the Division 2A Eagles (0-2).

The volleyball team, coming off a hard-fought 3-set loss to Orcas in their season-opener at home, will be looking for win No. 1 of the year in the non-conference clash at home against the Eagles. The match begins at 1 p.m. in Turnbull Gym.
