The offense came away empty for the third time this season as the Wolverines settled for their second scoreless tie of the year, Wednesday, on the road at Evergreen Lutheran.
Friday Harbor (0-1-2) dominated the non-league contest from start to finish, holding the Eagles scoreless over 80 minutes of play and without a single shot on goal.
Still, the Wolverines, despite an abundance of scoring opportunities, were unable to tally a goal of their own. They fired a total of 44 shots on goal over the course of the game but for the third consecutive outing of the season were unable to find the back of the net.
Coach Mark Fishaut said it was a "frustrating afternoon" for the team, in his recap of the game.
"All was a reminder that this is a simple game that is hard to play," he noted.
