Seventh-grade girls win second-consecutive SWISH tournament title

The seventh-grade girls SWISH basketball team took first place in the SWISH tournament Dec. 11 in La Conner.

The girls endured a six-week season, with games every Saturday off-island and 6 a.m. practices in Turnbull Gym.

This is the second year in a row the team has won first place in their division. Team members are Brook Ashcraft, Claire Boden, Madison Brockway, Ali Galt, Madison Kinkaid, Zoe Kromer, Alexa Mora, Celia Roth, Emily Rothlisberger, Taylor Turnbull, Echo Wood and Carly Woodward.
