The Wolverines completed their undefeated League season (8-0, 11-3-1 overall) by defeating Orcas 1-0, Tuesday at home.

The regular season finishes with a non-league scrimmage featuring varsity and JV squads at La Conner on Oct. 25. The Wolverines' first playoff game is in Edmonds Oct. 27 against King's.

In front of an enthusiastic crowd, Elle Guard scored the game's only goal late in the first half off a pass from Robyn Roberts. There were many opportunities to score but no others were completed. Rhiana Franklin was called upon to make a number of saves and rose to the occasion.

The match was preceded by a ceremony recognizing graduating seniors: Clara Brand (F/M), Elle Guard (F/M), Hannah Starr (M), Megan Goudie (D), Maggie Andersen (D), and Madi McPadden (manager).

At half time, the captains made their presentation on breast cancer and Breast Cancer Awareness. The proceeds from their youth mini-camp and sale of pins, ribbons, and baked goods will be forwarded to the Susan G. Komen Foundation at season's end.
