Resurrection Derby Dec. 2-4 in Friday Harbor | Fishing

The San Juan Island chapter of Puget Sound Anglers will present the first annual Resurrection Derby on Dec. 2-4, at Friday Harbor.

The event is part of the Northwest Marine Trade Association’s Salmon Derby Series and is a major fund-raiser for the Puget Sound Anglers’ salmon and habitat enhancement projects.

Entry fee is $400 per team, with a maximum of four licensed anglers per team. Cash prizes are $10,000 for first place, $2,500 for second, $1,500 for third, and $1,000 for mystery fish. Tickets can be purchased locally at Ace Hardware and King’s Marine.
