Minor Reinforcement, a new, local non-profit, and Vic’s Drive-In are working together to provide a safe place for students to meet up with friends, hang out, and eat after the two remaining home football games.

The Post-Game will take place at Vic’s Drive-In and will be open to all seventh through 12th graders (and any family members) from the time the final whistle blows to midnight, on Oct. 8 and Oct. 22.

There will be discounted pricing on a special late-night menu, including burgers, shakes and fries.

The Post-Game is a drug and alcohol-free program. The events will have security to guarantee a safe environment in which all students can relax and just have a good time with their friends.

For more information on The Post-Game or how you can support Minor Reinforcement in it mission to create and support activities that build the character and enhance the lives of San Juan Island teens, e-mail supportteens@minorreinforcement.org.

Members of the Board of Directors are Matt Ellingson, Cheri Hancock, Sylvia Sullard, Andy Urbach and Fred Woods.
